Making Your Own Wiki Page, and Linking it to 'YOUR PAGES'
OK, you should've gotten an email, your INVITATION TO THIS WIKI. If you haven't, or if you'd like to use a different email than your FAU email, click on the EDIT tab on the front page of the wiki:
Click on request access. You'll get the window below, so fill in your email address, and a quick message letting me know you're requesting access for this email address (I probably won't know who you are just by your email address if it's non-FAU). Enter the confirmation letter and click on Send to administrator.

You'll get a notice your request has been sent:

Once I get your email and approve it, you can open up your email, and see if you've gotten an email from PBworks:

Open it:

If you click on the Please click here link, the site will open inside your email, and you'll end up with a tiny cramped window, so go back to the main wiki address in your browser window. Click on the EDIT tab once again:

Now, click on Log in!:

Fill in your Email address, and create a password. Write down your password. Remember, the top of this window neeeds to read "Log in to fau_ _ _ _ .pbworks.com" (depending on which course this is). You are trying to access THIS wiki, not create your own wiki (although you certainly can do that on your own).

Once you've done that, you should be able to edit any page just by clicking on the EDIT tab:

But, we want to create a new page, so click back on the VIEW tab, then on the right side of the screen, click on Create a page.

On the page that pops up, name your page, preferably without a space in the name. Click on more options to create a page with the template:

Under Page content, select Use a template:

Under Use a template, select template, then click on Create page:

You should get a new page with the banner and navigation in place:

Customize the greeting with your own, by just selecting the text and typing. You can use any of the editing tools to further customize your page:

Save your page by clicking on the Save button at the bottom of the page:

Now, open the YOUR PAGES page, and click on the EDIT tab. Add your name under the INDIVIDUAL PROJECTS section:

Select your name:

At the far right side of the page, you should see the name of the page you've created under Pages > Insert a link. Click on the name of your page:

You name on the list should now be linked to your individual page:

Click on the Save button to save your link:

OK, that's it!
p.s. This Wiki will only allow one person to edit the YOUR PAGES page at one time. If you get a message that 'so-and-so has stolen the link to this page' or something of the sort, just wait a few minutes until that person is done, then add your name to the page.
